FIBERCAST 500 for Precast, Plaster & Shotcrete

Specifically engineered for precast, shotcrete concrete and solid plaster & recommended for self-compacting concrete mixes.

Fibrillated fibres available in 12 & 19mm lengths that are engineered in small bundles so that the individual fibres separate when added into concrete mixes containing small or no aggregate.

Improves cohesiveness and pumping.

Provides improved green strength and allows early age form removal.

Fibrillated design provides residual strength to concrete.

Suitable for use in all precast to provide plastic shrinkage crack reduction, impact and abrasion protection during handling and delivery and replacement of non-structural steel in smaller precast such as troughs, etc.

Minimum dosage:
1 bag per m3 of concrete. For plaster, use 1 part Fibercast to 900 parts dry mix.

Fibercast micro-synthetic fibres are unique in their ability to separate into individual fibres when mixed in concrete, plaster or shotcrete that typically doesn’t include large aggregate. This means Fibercast fibres are more evenly mixed and dispersed in these mix types than any other micro synthetic fibres offering similar physical and post-crack properties. Choose from two lengths; 12mm or 19mm. 12mm is most commonly used with plaster systems, with the 19mm fibre being used for precast applications.

For plaster applications, the typical minimum dosage is 1 part fibres to 900 parts dry mix material. For concrete applications, use at the minimum rate of 1 bag (0.9kg) per m3 of concrete.

Fibercast 500 is compliant with European Standard 14889-2
