FIBERMESH® Fibres for Concrete

Polypropylene Fibre Reinforcement Systems for Concrete

Fibermesh 100% virgin polypropylene fibres for concrete. Fibermesh® 300e3™ and Fibermesh 150e3® are specifically engineered for secondary reinforcement of concrete.
They are alternative secondary reinforcement systems for concrete that work in plastic concrete to reduce or eliminate plastic shrinkage cracking.
Use for slab on grade, footpaths, garage floors, etc.
Fibercast® fibres are used in solid plaster and precast concrete (e.g., precast troughs, garden furniture, etc.). 12 & 19mm fibre lengths are available.

Fibermesh fibres were previously BRANZ Appraised. Changes to NZ building standards mean that micro-fbre systems are not included as alternatives to wire mesh for the secondary reinforcement of habitable slabs on ground. Fibermesh fibre systems may be used in all other applications and in conjunction with wire mesh or where a specific engineered design is required.

Enduro/HPP (High Performance Polymer) fibres are also available to replace steel in slab on grade, precast and shotcrete applications.
Specific dosages per cubic metre of concrete depending on application.
