FORTA® MIGHTY MONO Monofilament Fibre for Concrete

Micro-synthetic monofilament fibre for concrete. Tens of millions of fibres per cubic metre.

Tested to show over dramatic reduction in plastic shrinkage cracking compared to control.

Forta Mighty Mono is used to significantly reduce the tendency of concrete containing fibres to shrink or to crack during initial drying shrinkage.

Virtually invisible in finished concrete.

Suitable for use in driveways, footpaths, slab on grade (not for residential housing), architectural and decorative concrete, exposed aggregate concrete, etc.

Minimum dosage:
1 bag per m3 of concrete

Expressly formulated to address early age cracking problems, Forta micro-synthetic fibres prevent 80 -100% of all cracks in the plastic state – precisely when most cracks occur. During the plastic settlement phase, the fibres create a three-dimensional support network that resists the downward pull of gravity, thus keeping aggregates in suspension and promoting uniform bleeding.

This network increases the tensile strain capacity of concrete during the plastic shrinkage phase as well.

Forta Mighty Mono is compliant with European Standard 14889-2
