NOVOMESH 850 Steel & Synthetic Fibre Blend

Patented blend of steel fibre and graded polypropylene multifilament fibre prepacked into a mixer-ready bag.

Provides higher levels of residual strength compared to ordinary polypropylene micro-fibre systems.

Used for shrinkage and temperature protection of concrete. Lowers water migration and improves impact and abrasion resistance.

An alternative system to traditional reinforcement in slab on grade applications. Works in both the plastic and hardened state.

Minimum dosage:
1.3 bags per m3 of concrete

 

Novomesh 850 is a blend of cold-drawn steel wire fibers and 100 percent virgin homopolymer graded-multifilament polypropylene fibers, containing no reprocessed olefin materials. Novomesh 850 conforms to:

ASTM C 1116, Types I and III. ASTM A 820/A 820M.
Fire Classification:UL Report File No. R14701 (N).

Polypropylene Component:

Fibre Length: Multi-design gradation.
Alkali Resistance: Alkali proof.
Absorption: Nil.
Specific Gravity: 0.91.
Melt Point: 162 degrees C.

Steel Component:

Fibre Length: 38mm.
Aspect Ratio: 34.
Tensile Strength: 140 to 180 Kpsi (966 to 1,242 MPa).
Deformation: Continuously deformed circular segment.
